Step 2 - Open Rom Manager and select the first option 'Flash ClockworkMod' class='bbc_url' title='Link Externo' rel='nofollow external'>http://www.androidpt.info/index.php?title=Cwm']ClockworkMod recovery' class='bbc_url' title='Link Externo' rel='nofollow external'>http://www.androidpt.info/index.php?title=Recovery']recovery'. The phone must be rooted to work all the following steps.

Step 3 - When asked to confirm phone model click on 'Huawei U8160'.

Step 4 - Wait while it downloads and installs the recovery' class='bbc_url' title='Link Externo' rel='nofollow external'>http://www.androidpt.info/index.php?title=Recovery']recovery image.

• If you get a Superuser request, allow it.

Step 5 - When it pops up with 'Sucessfully flashed ClockworkMod' class='bbc_url' title='Link Externo' rel='nofollow external'>http://www.androidpt.info/index.php?title=Cwm']ClockworkMod recovery' class='bbc_url' title='Link Externo' rel='nofollow external'>http://www.androidpt.info/index.php?title=Recovery']recovery!', Click OK.

Step 6 - Use Rom Manager to Reboot your phone into recovery' class='bbc_url' title='Link Externo' rel='nofollow external'>http://www.androidpt.info/index.php?title=Recovery']recovery. You should get this -

Step 7 - To manual boot press power button and volume up together until the menu shows up.

All done.

You can now backup your current Rom (firmware), install a custom Rom like CyanogenMod and restore your phone from your backups.
